Below is a complete list of sports and academics camps held at Killian Middle School in Lewisville. Half-day and All-Day camps are offered every week for ages 6-12. Discounts are available, and these discounts are applied when two or more camps are selected.

Note: To register for the all-day camp, select a morning and afternoon camp in that given week. Your child can participate in those selected camps, or join all-day campers for other activities. You can drop off as early as 7:45am, and pickup at 4:30pm.

    Week 2: Apocalypse Games & Survival Training!

    This exciting course will stimulate your child’s creative instincts and take their imagination across the globe! Camp time addresses wildlife tracking, plant identification, navigation skills using a compass, basic first aid and safety techniques, and constructing makeshift shelters. All games and activities are safe and age appropriate.

    Week 2: Army Games & Dodgeball!

    This exciting camp utilizes many different versions of dodgeball and capture the flag to teach your child discipline, confidence, teamwork, and other crucial life skills so they can excel in all areas of life! Games are age appropriate and played with dodgeballs made of a soft and safe foam material.

    Week 3: Soccer Skills and Games!

    Perfect your abilities and join the soccer program! Players will learn positional soccer skills such as: Forward, Midfielder, Defender, and Goalie! The emphasis is always on fun and learning crucial skills to succeed. This camp is great for both boys and girls.

    Week 3: Go Go Gadget!

    In this hands-on camp children use creativity and critical thinking to develop an understanding of simple educational designs before progressing to more complex level gadgetry and electronics. Activities include everything from paper and clay electrical projects, to magnetic driven cars and exciting electrical boards.

    Week 4: Total Dodgeball & Agility Games!

    This exhilarating camp takes fun and hard work to another level! Your child will work on agility, explosiveness, lateral movements, and speed all while playing over 10 different types of dodgeball and speed games! Dodgeballs are made of a soft and safe foam material.

    Week 4: Volleyball Skills and Games!

    This exciting skill building camp introduces players to the rules and fundamentals of volleyball while playing exciting games! Camp time also focuses on attacking the ball, setting, passing, defense, serving, blocking, self-motivation, and work ethic while teaching health principles and the first 5 lessons of the SSA Core Life Skills Curriculum.

    Week 4: Crazy Science!

    This exciting camp teaches children to observe, plan, overcome obstacles, and develop hypotheses while participating in hands-on science experiments and activities in all elements of science:  Biology, physical and chemical. Activities include everything from environmental issues and their impact on our world, to Newton’s Laws of Motion, genetics, forensics, energy, and simple machines.

    Your child will improve their shooting technique, dribbling skills, ball handling skills, passing skills, and their understanding of offensive and defensive movement while playing one-on-one and team games!
